Yes - we deliver nationwide to all addresses in South Africa via courier. Remote and outlying areas may take 1-2 additional business days.

Products & Compatibility

Are your products genuine Hikvision?
Yes - all products sold by Apex Trade Dynamics are 100% genuine Hikvision equipment with full manufacturer warranty.

Do your cameras and NVRs work together?
Yes - our surveillance bundles are pre-configured with matched cameras and NVRs. All Hikvision IP cameras are compatible with Hikvision NVRs within the same resolution family.

Are the wireless alarm sensors compatible with my AX PRO hub?
Yes - all wireless sensors and accessories in our store are compatible with the Hikvision AX PRO 32-zone and 64-zone wireless alarm hubs.

What's the maximum cable run for IP cameras?
Standard CAT5e or CAT6 cable supports up to 100m per segment for both PoE power and data. For longer runs, use a PoE extender or an additional switch.

Installation

Can I install the system myself?
Yes - our bundles and products are designed with DIY installation in mind. Each product includes a manual, and our team can provide guidance if you get stuck.

Do you offer installation services?
While we don't install directly, we can recommend professional Hikvision-certified installers in your area. Contact us with your location and we'll assist.

What tools do I need for a basic CCTV installation?
A drill, cable clips or conduit, a crimping tool for RJ45 connectors, and a network cable tester. Our CAT5e/CAT6 cable and NVR systems make installation straightforward for anyone with basic DIY skills.

Warranty & Returns

What warranty do Hikvision products carry?
All genuine Hikvision cameras, NVRs, and alarm equipment carry a 3-year manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

How do I return a product?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery. Items must be sealed and unused. See our full Returns & Warranty Policy for details.

My product arrived faulty - what do I do?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no charge, including return shipping.

Is your website secure?

Technical Support

I can't access my cameras remotely - what do I do?
Make sure you've completed the Hik-Connect or iVMS-4200 app setup and that your router has the correct port forwarding configured. Contact our support team if you're still stuck.

My wireless alarm shows a sensor as offline - what do I do?
Check the sensor's battery level, ensure it's within wireless range, and try re-pairing it from the AX PRO hub. A signal repeater may be needed for distant sensors.
